FETTO Nord 70 has a more edgy and hotheaded distortion character— which makes us think about the great Mick Ronson and the early Eddie Van Halen.
The ostrich on FETTO Nord 70's silk screen is an unshaved smoker, like everybody was in the 70's. And the nose is swollen caused by particular 70's reasons.
The knobs on FETTO Nord 70 are ashtray grey.

The idea with FETTO Nord/Nord 70 was born when the artist and producer, Micke Nord Andersson (Nord, Roxette, Ulf Lundell, Björn Skifs and others) tested the FETTO Standard and the under OVER boost during a period of time.

Sound wise he really liked that combination, but as one of his pedal boards had to be small and still versatile, a stomp with all the FETTO Standard qualities, with a boost option ahead of the distortion was needed.

This new pedal was meant to work as a few pure sounding gain stages for his HIWATT amplifiers. If this was doable the sound possibilities would be similar with a 3-channel amp—small enough to be put in a pocket! A few months later FETTO Nord and FETTO Nord 70 were born.
