In February 2011 Fetto Nord 70 went through a temporary hair-fix—with the same sound as usual 6 copies of Fat-oh Nord 70 (#050-055) was produced so If you stumble over one of these only you can decide how to handle it.

From serial #039, Fetto Nord 70 is available with the booster routed pre OR post distortion.

An external 'Presence' toggle was added as well, for versatility.
The idea with Fetto Nord/Nord 70 was born when the artist and producer, Micke Nord Andersson (Nord, Roxette, Ulf Lundell, Björn Skifs and others) tested the Fetto Standard and the Under Over boost during a period of time.

Sound wise he really liked that combination, but as one of his pedal boards had to be small and still versatile, a stomp with all the Fetto Standard qualities, with a boost option ahead of the distortion was needed.

This new pedal was meant to work as a few pure sounding gain stages for his HIWATT amplifiers. If this was doable the sound possibilities would be similar with a 3-channel amp—small enough to be put in a pocket! A few months later Fetto Nord and Fetto Nord 70 were brought into the light.
