Fetto Nord—Great Distortion + Boost (replaced by...)
Fetto Nord
Fetto/FAT-oh Nord is evil in a pleasant way and very tube-like. A paradox—a transparent pedal with definite character. With any of the Fetto pedals it's easy to get crunchy or creamy distortion—at any volume. With the Nord's you also get an independent boost!

Superb string separation, all the way from smooth overdrive to heavy distortion. Never lose the character of your instrument or amplifier. Designed to match the volume control on your guitar perfectly. Most pedals sounds just like a pedal. Not the case with the Fettos! They sound and feel like an extension of your amplifier—Tactilitus Maximus.

Fetto Nord
In February 2011 Fetto Nord went through a temporary hair-fix—with the same sound as usual. 9 copies of Fat-oh Nord (#108-116) was produced so If you stumble over one of these only you can decide what to do.

FAT-oh Nord
From serial #074, Fetto Nord is available with the booster routed pre OR post distortion.
The idea with Fetto Nord/Nord 70 was born when the artist and producer, Micke Nord Andersson (Nord, Roxette, Ulf Lundell, Björn Skifs and other Swedish artists) tested the Fetto Standard and the Under Over boost during a period of time.

Sound wise he really liked that combination, but as one of his pedal boards had to be small but still versatile, a stomp with all the Fetto Standard qualities, with a boost option ahead of the distortion was needed.

This new pedal was meant to work as a few pure sounding gain stages for his HIWATT amplifiers. If this was possible it would make the sound possibilities similar with a 3-channel amp—small enough to be put in a pocket! A few months later Fetto Nord and Fetto Nord 70 were born.
