FEKTO—FX Integrator
So you have a great guitar tone and want to add
effects without ruining
yo sound? That could be tricky and that’s why the FEKTO FX integration pedal was developed.
The problem is that most digital, and some analog, effect units will affect you original sound too much, make it thin and dull. This could be a reason for many great sounding guitar players to stay away from effects.
With FEKTO you
blend in the amount of effects you want while your original, great guitar tone will remain.

Amount of effect to be blended with your original sound, controlled with the MORE foot switch

Output level—'dry' and 'effect' mixed. Can also be used as a solo boost or to help pushing your amp into overdrive

Amount of effect to be blended with your original sound, controlled with the GIMME foot switch
Tone
To be used if the effect unit sounds too bright or 'digital'. The Tone will not affect your original, dry signal
**True bypass is when the signal, with the pedal in bypass mode, passes from the Input to the Output jack, only touching a mechanical switch/relay. The True bypass system is only possible with mechanical components, like switches or relays.
**True bypass or StrutzBuffer mode is switchable inside of FEKTO
The amount of signal to be affected by the effect unit(s) is decided by you. This way your original, personal tone will remain.

**StrutzBuffer mode means you will use the FEKTO neutral sounding audio buffer system (default) instead of the *True bypass switching system.
A way to check if the StrutzBuffer is as good as we say, use a high quality, short guitar cable connected between the guitar and the amp and listen carefully — this to hear how the guitar and the amp may sound in an 'ideal situation'.
Then connect your normal, longer cables to the bypassed FEKTO set to StrutzBuffer mode. If the sound is the same as with the high quality, short cable the StrutzBuffer is probably good enough.
Conclusion: Long cables in a True bypass system will cause losses, especially to be heard in lack of higher frequencies. These losses are strongly reduced when using FEKTO in Strutzbuffer mode.
