About Himmelstrutz Elektro Art
As rockers uses artist names I do the same. My name is C. J. Himmelstrutz. Why? To honour the Swedish author, Sture Dahlström. If you think the products here have strange names it's by the same reason—the great Sture.
My life started 1976, at 12 years of age. It was a saturday when I heard the intro of Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak on the radio. What a riff! What a sound! I was trapped immediately and it forced me to start to play guitar the same year.
In line with that I also started to play with electronics as the sound was—and of course still is—at least as fun as the actual playing.
My first amplifier was built in 1982 and here we are now.
